Slides: What is Finnish about the Finns Party?

Just returned from a seminar “On Populism and Politics” by the Finnish Political Science Association and politiikasta.fi, with an interesting discussion on the concept of populism and its usefulness with contributions from several researchers from the fields of political science, sociology and communication. I also held a short presentation on my Master’s dissertation. It attempts to present my argument about the difference between rural and urban Finns Party candidates and show populism in the context of a particularly Finnish political culture, using Luc Boltanski and Laurent Thévenot’s justification theory, in a condensed and simplified form.
